Home Video - Citizen EP Although well produced this electronic blip EP, just doesn't cut it, it's repetative, whiney and a bit boring to be honest. If your into this sort of stuff then it will be fine for you, otherwise give it a miss. | ![]() |
![]() |
KT Tunstall - False Alarm What a great voice, the lead track "False Alarm" from the EP is superb, KT has both the voice and the songs on the EP, stunning!! | ![]() |
![]() |
Elivss - Not Enough Unusual name, is it a joke or a cock-up or has the whole thing gone straight over my head, anyway - not bad but just your average rock track. | ![]() |
![]() |
Darius - Live Twice Good old Darius, still singing chirpily about love and appearing in his video's with his guitar, a beautiful lady and on a beach, a nice song this, and will chart high, but mate, choose a diferent vid next time! | ![]() |
![]() |
Iain
Archer - Summer Jets Great summery pop, shame it's nearly winter. The video is clever and engaging | ![]() |
![]() |
Others
- Stan Bowles Guitar, drums, bass, punk direction. WOuld have been pretty good in the late 70's - this is fairly average. | ![]() |
![]() |
Earlies
- Morning Wonder Chuggs along nicely this one. I'm sure I can hear a diggerydoo in there somewhere, or it could be a bass guitar an octave lower than normal. Mellow and trance like. It also sounds a little bit like moodier stuff from Blur. | ![]() |
![]() |
Rachel Stevens- More, More, More A lively cover of this disco tune. Although her voice is good, I think she's clutching at straws here and will be using her video and backing babes to hype up the sales of this one. | ![]() |
![]() |
The Corrs - Angel This is a little more contemporary from the Corrs, but it's still got the give a way celtic feel. Not bad but, it could be one of any number of artists all knocking out similar material. The traditional Irish bridge section is the only thing that helps distinguish the song. | ![]() |
![]() |
FatBoySLim - Slash Dot Dah This could be an internet geeks song, and probably is, this is another superb dance track from Norman. can't wait for the album | ![]() |
![]() |
Razorlight - Vice detailed and layered, builds up nicely. The overall sound demands attention and stinks of quality. Razorlight are brimming with their own self confidence and this single will do a lot to back it up. | ![]() |
![]() |
McFly - That Girl Very catchy, will now doubt appeal to eight year olds everywhere. Certainly giving Busted a run for their money. Sure hit | ![]() |
![]() |
The Libertines - Cant's stand me now This is brilliant, it's geting lots of airplay already, and so it should, cant wait for the album. | ![]() |
![]() |
Johnny Panic - Burn Your Youth Yeah this is more like it, good solid modern rock song, whether it will be a hit, i don't know but it's far better than the last two. NOt bad lyrics either. | ![]() |
![]() |
Aberfeldy - Heliopolis by night This isn't much better either, slightly more tuneful but very flast and un-interesting. not a hit ,me thinks | ![]() |
![]() |
Lambchop - Something's going on Well whatever it is it's not this song, complete rubbish this track, it mumbloes it's way through 2mins 48 seconds, and for me thats 2 mins 47 seconds too long | ![]() |
![]() |
The Rasmus - Guilty second single from there debut album. This one has got a bit of an 80's rock feel to it, dare I say it, a little like Bon Jovi.... | ![]() |
![]() |
Franz Ferdinand - Michael This is the fourth single from the album and although a live favourite and good alround stomping tune, it's a little on the repetitive side. But you can't knock a good song for not being brilliant. | ![]() |
![]() |
Sia - Where I Belong Sia has got a great warm voice, add that to a sultry spanish accent, throw in a decent balad that builds to a good chorus, This is a cracking good song, should do welll | |
![]() |
The Vaults - The Friday night Monday morning blackout This is a good hard rock EP, from the band they are calling the new Darkness, which to be honest they are not, but they are bloody good non the less | ![]() |
![]() |
Sophia - Holidays are nice Yes they are, and so is this song as it reminds you of them....nice track! | ![]() |
![]() |

![]() |
Marjorie Fair - Stare Wow! these loit are brilliant, they have a really nice sound and the song is sweet to the ears. Yhe lead singer has a really soft and warming voice too. These lot are goignt o be the next big thing me thinks. | ![]() |
![]() |
Joy Zipper - Baby You Should Know a nice tune and a nice sound but a bit flat at times, it just sounds the same all the way through. | ![]() |
![]() |
Zero 7 - Sommersault Always a class track, whatever they put out, these lot put the rest to shame, and this song is no execption | ![]() |
![]() |
Longview - Stripped This is a cover of the depeche mode track and although it's good, so too was the original, so it's hard to really make a judgement about the band from this track. It's good but wouldn't it be better to showcase their own material. | ![]() |
![]() |
Auf der Maur rock, with not a lot of instant appeal. Overall the albumn is ok, but this single isn't particularly exciting | ![]() |
![]() |
Plummet - Cherish the Day Euphoric dance with poppy edge. Catchy track with the potential to do well | ![]() |
![]() |

![]() |
Fountains of Wayne - Mexican Wine Wow these lot are good, and this song is a dead cert summer hit !!! we produced and it's just a good summer uplifting song | ![]() |
![]() |
Ima Robot - Dynomite This is a bit of a punk throwback song, the lyrics are reminisant of kids mursery rhymes. It's not bad but then again not the best thing i've heard. | ![]() |
![]() |
Iain Archer - Boy Boy Boy This has a good intro, and Iain's voice sounds good, but after the intro the song doesn't particularly go anywhere, and you end up not taking in the lyrics, evcen though it's a bout a boy with his cardigan inside out - I think! | ![]() |
![]() |
Sleepy Jacksons - This Day, Come to This This song has a badly drawn bouy feel to it, and this makes it not very exciting to listen too. Sorry guys. | ![]() |
![]() |
Two Lone - Swordfish - Faux God this is boring - this track would send you to sleep even on the loudest dancefloor | ![]() |
![]() |
Lene Marlin - Another Day Finally a decent singer with a decent song, Lene has a nice summery voice and this song is ideal for long hot summer walks with a loved one, | ![]() |
![]() |
Lenny Kravitz - Where are we runnin' mmm good guitar intro on this track, and the songs not bad either - good old rock and roll, not sure about Lenny's hair on the cover though - nice! | ![]() |
![]() |
D12
- My Band ‘My Band' is the first single from D12 in almost two years. It's been produced by Eminem himself and features all six members. Typical tongue in cheek side to the lyrics. Find out more at www.hyperlaunch.com/d12 | ![]() |
![]() |
Franz
Ferdinand - Matinee You can see why they are popular at the present. Their sound is made up of so many comfortable and familiar sounds, but somehow manages to sound new, original and fresh. This is uptempo dancey rock that is somehow full of genuine credibility. Great music, great lyrics | ![]() |
![]() |
Blue
- Breathe Easy Yet another ballad from Blue. It's very average, but will appeal to fans and no doubt be a huge hit for the boy band. | ![]() |
![]() |
Keisha Whites- Watcha
Gonna Do | ![]() |
![]() |
Darkness - Love is a feeling Well these guys go from strength to strength, this is one of the best rock ballards i've heard for ages - sheer quality, if you haven't already go buy the album it's superb | ![]() |
![]() |
Kidsymphony Fist impressions are they sound a little like Queen crossed with Electric 6. This is a rocking tune with full-on melody and in general there's not much wrong with it. It's a little on the tongue in cheek side of things, but that hasn't done the Darkness any harm has it. | ![]() |
![]() |
Sugababes - Stuck in the middle These sexy, brassy young ladies have hit the nail on the head with this single and album. excelent funky offering - worth buying. | ![]() |
![]() |
Jamie Cullum - These are the days Sorry, but I must be the only one who thinks this guy is over-rated, nothing special with this song or any other of his stuff that has come out recently. | ![]() |

|
![]() |

![]() |
Chicks on Speed - Wordy
Rapping Hood Yes it's back, this is a mega uptempo version of the Tom Tom club classic, featuring Tina Weymouth. This has every chance of going all the way. You'll either love it or it'll drive you insane. | ![]() |
![]() |
Mark Joseph - Bringing Back
Those Memories This is a catchy track that shows a lot of potential from the new kid on the block. A little on the poppy side and lacking a bit of edge, but nevertheless promising stuff. | ![]() |
![]() |
Stranglers - Big thing coming This is a awesome track, but it doesn't sound anything like traditional Stranglers. So, it should be huge but it might not appeal to all older fans. The keyboards are the only instantly recognisable trademark | ![]() |
![]() |
Hothouse Flowers - Your
love goes on This is their first offering on return from many years of solo project work. Featuring the Dublin Gospel Choir, this is a big sound, with smooth and easy listening appeal. |
![]() |
![]() |
Bubba Sparxxx- Deliverance Catchy hip-hop but with country flavas. Essentially a good song no matter how you pigeon hole it. |
![]() |
![]() |

![]() |
![]() |

Know The is a classy pop/rock offerring from new boys Keane. It's got depth and intrigue with haunting melodies. This will appeal to lots of people especially those who like music with integrity. |
![]() |
![]() |
Blink 182- I Miss You Poppy offering from the last album, which should do well. |
![]() |
![]() |
Obie Trice- The Set Up Aggressive, dull and dated lyrics spoil what is otherwise a good melodic single. |
![]() |
![]() |
Snow Patrol- Run Moody, intense and rich. It's quality rock orientated material that higlights the the talents of this fine band. Gently building with a catchy chorus. This may be the single that unleashes Snow Patrol to a wider audience. http://www.hyperlaunch.com/snowpatrol |
![]() |
![]() |
Clea - Stuck in the Middle
Hey! this isn't half bad, a nice dramatic pop ballard that will I think get a lot of air play. Much better than their last effort. |
![]() |
![]() |
Mr.ON vs Jungle brothers
- Breathe don't stop This is agood mix of a Mocheal Jackson backing track (topical at the minute) and some great rap lyrics. A sure fire hit !!!! |

![]() |
![]() |
Clarkesville - Spinning What else can we say - but brilliant!! |
![]() |

![]() |
Madness- Vol 1 Singles Box
It's the 'heavy heavy monster' sound all over again and it sounds brilliant! Loads of classics in this collection from 'The Prince' right through to 'Cardiac Arrest' and to round it off the packaging is superb too. |
![]() |
![]() |
Blue- feat. Stevie Wonder
and Angie Stone - Signed Sealed. Delivered. Catchy but totally over produced. With Blue's following it's got to be a Christmas contender, but somewhat predictable. |
![]() |
![]() |
Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros-
Redemption Song Gentle but catchy offering from the late Mr. Strummer. Written by Bob Marley , this version offers an acoustic, folk slant, and has certainly got potential to be a Christmas hit. |
![]() |
![]() |
The Darkness - Christmas
Time, Don't Let the Bells End Oi Oi missus, bells end nudge nudge, well no nudging at all actually, this is not a saucy crimbo track as the title leads you to believe. this is a good tradional queen/slade/wizzard Christmas track. Should almost make the NO.1 Christmas slot but we think will get pipped at the post by the stunningly brilliant 'Mad World' |
![]() |
![]() |
Atomic Kitten - Ladies Night The kitten's singles are coming fast and furious. This one's a cover of the Kool and the Gang classic Ladies Night. It's a good uptempo version, very poppy but it's not going to be top of the charts this Christmas! |
![]() |
![]() |
Blink182 - Feeling this "Feeling this" is the first single from Blink 182's new album.t's very upbeast and puncgy throughout with the usual catchy chorus. Loads of silly lyrics but all good fun. |
![]() |
![]() |
Lamb - Wonder Slow, soft and quirky. Nice vocals from Lou Robinson. If you like trip-hop it could be your thing. |
![]() |
![]() |
Jet - Rollover DJ Good stonking rock - brilliant |
![]() |
![]() |
Martin L Gore - Loverman The Depeche Mode man is back with another single and it's really rather good, it's dark, deep and a bit dirty - marvelous |
![]() |
![]() |
The All American rejects
- The Last Song Hope this isn't the last song as I really like this song, sounds a bit like some of the other American teen rock bands but a good song non the less. |
![]() |
![]() |
Mary J Blige featuring Eve
- Not Today No not today, just sounds like all the rest. |
![]() |
![]() |
No Doubt - It's My Life This is one of my fave 80's tunes, so to cover it and impress me e it will have to be good - it just scrapes in. Could do with a remix with a lot more guitar and bass. |
![]() |
![]() |
Mis-Teeq - Style This features a Pet Shop Boys sample which at first leads you to believe it's a cover, but it's not this is yet another quality Mis-teeq track, slightly softer but still as funky. |
![]() |
![]() |
The Loose Cannons - superstars I can't decide if this is catchy or irritating, all I know is that the chorus embeds itself into your mind for about 3 hours each time you hear the track. Light rapping, funky beats fun chorus, sure hit |
![]() |
![]() |
The Cornerstones - Smack
me in the face This band have got something about them. The single is fairly mellow, catchy, thoughtful, well delivered and a bit of a grower. Musically it's accomplished and it's an allround fine tune. If you like Travis then this single would appeal to you although they've got a slightly more 60's feel. |
![]() |
![]() |
Atomic Kitten - If you
come to me The kittens can do no wrong. Great Harmonies. It sounds a bit familiar and instantly catchy |
![]() |
![]() |
Kym Marsh - Sentimental It's good, but sounds like a hundred other country/folk/pop female vocalists. I don't know if this matters anyore. nil for originality, but quite a good song all the same. The dance remix is even better...but sounds like a hundred other ..... |
![]() |
![]() |
Daniel Bedingfield - Friday It's catchy, which is a good start. It's also not soppy, so even better. I think this single might endear DB to some new fans. It's quite uptemp and good fun. |
![]() |
![]() |
Mark Owen - alone without
you A good strong second single from Mark. Four minute warning was brilliant and this track won't do his career any harm either. |
![]() |
![]() |
erasure - Oh Lamour This is a good acoustic re-mix for this song, gives it new feel. Would like to hear the boys release Crackers International remixed and released for crimbo |
![]() |
![]() |
Dave Gahan - Bottle Living Classic Gahan this track, it's rocky, hard and a bit Depeche Mode like. Don't think it will chart high but fans won't be disapointed. |
![]() |
![]() |
Goldfrapp - Twist Mean and moody Goldfrapp this time, a good song with good dark dance beats. A dance floor filler and a top 10 hit if ever I saw one. |
![]() |
![]() |
Alkaline Trio - All on Black Fast and furious rock with the usual build up to Mosh pit chorus. Simplistic but catchy all the same |
![]() |
![]() |
Kellis - Milkshake Lots of rhythm and syncopated beats, punctuated with Indian finger cymbals, this song gets into you head and you'll either love or hate it in the same way that you either loved or hated Flying Lizards version of 'Money' |
![]() |
![]() |
The Kills - Pull A U Rock 'n' roll intro to this one, real Jimi hendrix style. This male \ female duo deliver a Bluesy \ rock treat from the same sort of genre as Whte Stripes, but perhaps a little moodier. nice. |
![]() |
![]() |
Rachel Stevens - Sweet Dreams
my L.A.ex Loads of airply before its release will ensure that this is a big hit for ex S-Club star, Rachel. And to be fair it's a good song too, although I find the chorus a bit corny. . |
![]() |
![]() |
Paul Van Dyk - Time of our
lives smooth and grand with excellent backbeats, should do well as it's very poppy, although the chorus goes on a bit.. |
![]() |
![]() |
A Perfect Circle - Weak
and Powerless Great bass, drums and guitar combined with haunting vocals and powerful chorus make this a great tune. |
![]() |
![]() |
Ilya - Soleil Soleil |
![]() |
![]() |
Limp Bizkit - Eat you alive The opening chords sound like every metal song you've ever heard, but it quickly turns into a well developed single with it's own personality and intrinsic hooks. Chorus is pure angst, but it has mellow bits too, so ideal single material |
![]() |
![]() |
Biffy Clyro - Eradicate
the Doubt Funky light intro, which turns into a bit of a mosh pit rant and then back again. There obviously musically talented, but it's wasted on this track. Eradicate the vocalist would be a better option. |
![]() |
![]() |
Turin Brakes - 5 Miles (These
are the days) Very very catchy. well crafted and superbly rich. Pop as it should be. |
![]() |
![]() |
Placebo - Special Needs Superb classic Placebo. Highly under-rated band, but I guess you either love or hate them. |
![]() |
![]() |
Aslan - Crazy World Superb single from one of Irelands best rock bands. Excellent vocals that will make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.. Aslan should have been huge - they are in Ireland - and hopefully the re-relase of earlier material may get them some well deserved wider coverage. See them live if you can. |
![]() |
![]() |
Small Victories - 'Go back
to bed America' Fantastic single from the Cardiff based duo. Another nugget of gold in the brassy music industry, they deserve to be big and will be. |
![]() |
![]() |
Skin - 'Faithfullness' Can this lot sing any higher, the pitch of the lead vocals is almost painfully high. not a bad song though. |
![]() |
![]() |
Mars Volta - Inertiatic
Esp Rock track edging towards Radiohead in places. A bit of a racket, but will probably grow, although it sounds more like album than single material. |
![]() |
![]() |
Strokes - 12:51 A little bit of a dissapointing whingy effort from the Strokes. It's good but not classic... apart from the ending which is abruptly sudden. I hope the rest of the material on their forthcoming album is more energized. |
![]() |
![]() |
Sean Paul - Like Glue Track 2 - the instrumental is great, the vocals if anything detract from fine beats and melody. With such a good canvass, Sean Paul has done little to excite. |
![]() |
![]() |
Mountaineers - Ripen |
![]() |
![]() |
Joe Strummer - Coma Girl |
![]() |
![]() |
Trapt - Headstrong Already doing great things in the states, this band are all set to break into the UK market with this explosive single. Loads of punchy riffs and hi- energy lyrics, great rock with enough appeal to keep the sk8ers happy http://www.hyperlaunch.com/trapt |
![]() |
![]() |
Melanie C -Yeh Yeh Yeh With so many good singles around at the moment I was starting to worry that this page was looking a bit creepy, so thankfully, the Melanie C single came a long to re-address the balance. Sorry Mel, on another day you may have got the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately this is the most un-original song that I've heard all year. Frankly it's far worse than anything the cheeky girls have done and and it's a damm cheek expecting anything other than compilation filler for this effort.. |
![]() |
![]() |
Snow Patrol - Spitting Games Darlings of the Scottish music scene, Snow Patrol, are hoping for some wider attention with this poppy track. Nice melodies and a strong chorus - they could be on to a winner with this one |
![]() |
![]() |
Black Eyed Peas - Where
is the Love Best chorus I've heard for a while and the verses aren't too bad either. What can I say, If you're going to have hip-hop and r & b in the same track then this is how to do it. The softer meoldies gives their style of hip hop a new angle and and just what it need. Compare this with the tired, dull and boring track 2 "Sumthing for that Ass" - I know which I prefer. |
![]() |
![]() |
The Free Association - Sugarman This is a brilliant song, dark thumping base line with superb lyrics and vocals. must be a hit. |
![]() |
![]() |
Oceansize - Remember

![]() |
![]() |
After Suburbia - The Dare
EP Again not bad. Good old modern day rock. Well written, well produced but we've heard this sound before. Too much some would say. But a good effort. |
![]() |
![]() |
Tim Burgess - Believe in
the Spirit Here's a different sound, this is bright, catchy and upliting. If it gets the airplay it could be huge. Love the sax on the track |
![]() |
![]() |
Speedway
- Save Yourself \ Genie in a Bottle New band from Scotland, Speedway offer more than a retro Pretenders sound, with their debut double A side. Save yourself is a catchy summery track whilst the cover of Genie in a bottle is stomping |
![]() |
![]() |
Audio
Bullys - Way Too Long The best part of this track is that it's got a Ska feel in places, especially the intro which could be the Specials..remeber them. |
![]() |
![]() |
White
Stripes - I just don't know what to do with myself Great cover, bringing back back memories of the film Buster... I'm not sure if that's what they intended though! |
![]() |
![]() |
3hird
Light - Movin' On EP A cross between the ELO and the Thrills with some obvious Beatles influences. With this combination you're halfway to a decent sound and indeed that's what they've got. Whether it's got enough edge or originality to stand out from the crowd is another matter. |
![]() |
![]() |
Laibach
- Tanz Mit Laibach Call me ignorant, but I've no idea what this is all about, however, that doesn't mean it's no go good. It's got heavy electronic stmoping beats, growling resonant vocals with more than likely goth appeal. Nice atmospheric vampirish backing vocals, along with classical elements make this all a bit dramatic. |
![]() |
![]() |
DMX
- Where the Hood at Totally dated angst ridden beastie boy type rap, full of pretentious lyrics. |
![]() |
![]() |
Spiritualized
- She Kissed Me This is what we want after the Cheeky Girls overload, good solid well peformed rock music - brilliant |
![]() |
![]() |
The
Thrills - Santa Cruz (you're not that far) Brilliant poppy single from a great band |
![]() |
![]() |
Chemical
Brothers feat. The Flaming Lips - The Golden Path A most refreshing track with excellent musical detail, embellished with rich deep vocals and entertaining lyrics. One of the best singles around at the moment |
![]() |
![]() |
Lisa
Scott Lee - Too Far Gone This is a very clever poppy track, that'll have you singing along in no time at all. Only problem is that it's very shallow and not very original. It'll make great filler for many a compilation to come. |
![]() |
David
Sneddon - Best of Order |
![]() |
|
Dave
Gahan - I Need You
|
![]() |
|
| Psychid
- Digging For Victory We liked the album so as you can guess we like this single. Well produced this song is dark and meaty and has a touch of the Depeche about it. Fabulous. |
![]() |
|
Libertines
- Don't Look Back into the Sun |
![]() |
|
![]() |
Cheeky
Girls - Hooray Horray (it's a cheeky holiday) |
![]() |
![]() |
Tindersticks
(with Ihasa De Sela) - Sometimes it hurts I will probably get slated for saying this, but this single sounds a bit like Nick Cave and Kylie, but not as weird. I don't think anyone dies or anything. Top tune! |
![]() |
![]() |
Crackout
- Out of our minds Sounding a bit like a cross between the Stranglers and the Cure, this tune grabs you by the ear lobes and demands attention. Catchy on first play...could do well. |
![]() |
![]() |
Robbie
Williams - Something Beautiful Non stop Robbie classics, can't find fault with this or any of his stuff, dead cert number 1 this, and quite rightly so. |
![]() |
| Harry
- Follow Me Good solid stuff this, with a great hook and superbly perfored. Ideal bedroom stomping music |
![]() |
|
![]() |
Kym
Marsh - Come On Over This is catchy, but I'm not sure what if anything gives it an edge over material from others such as Mel C and Natalie Imbruglia, not to mention the million and one other artists that are as good but do not get the chart success. Sorry, good but nothing special |
![]() |
![]() |
Kraftwerk
- Tour de France 2003 Not heard much from these guys recently and this is certainly not like famous earlier singles such as 'model', but it's well put together and creative. If dance music is dying a death at the moment with too mny euphoric anthems, then this is the sort of rich deep electronic beats that will still give it some credibility. |
![]() |
![]() |
Haven
- Tell Me Prelude to their forthcoming album, this single is classy rock with more than enough hooks to appeal to a wide audience. |
![]() |
![]() |
Motion
City Soundtrack - My Favorite Accident Thankfully these lot aren't an accident waiting to happen as this is a good song with a band that has a good distinctive sound. Would like to hear the album |
![]() |
![]() |
Simple
Plan - Adicted Another band and a nother single from the American Soft Punk scene. It's a good song which will get a lot of air play but it's not different enough to stand out |
![]() |
![]() |
Paul
Van Dyk - Nothing But You Powerful and uplifting dance track. It's got that 'I've heard this before' feel to it and so will be in everyone's comfort zone. The vocals are mellow and smooth and beats hypnotic. A sure hit. |
![]() |
![]() |
KV5

Yeah
Yeah Yeahs - Pin In your face single from a much hyped band. If you like bands such as the Strokes, combined with a charismatic female vocalist - along the lines of early Debbie Harry - then put this on your shopping list. |

Shed
Seven- Why can't I be you Shed Seven are back with the release of their new single on 12th May. It's funkier than the old stuff but still has that 90's inide feel. I hope it's a bit of a grower because on first play it's not particularly strong. |

Androids
- Do it with Madonna This is a bit of a catchy novelty track that runs the risk of sounding a bit corny, however, the other tracks on the single demonstrate that the Androids are not just one hit wonders and actually have an original and distinct sound. Already getting airplay...should be a hit! |

Asian
Dub Foundation feat. Sinead O'Connor - 1000 Mirrors This is the second track to be taken from 'Enemy of the Enemy' album that was released in February 2003 and features guest vocals by Sinead O'Connor. The song is about one of the last great taboos, domestic violence, especially in the Asian community. Despite a thorny issue, it's quite an comfortable poppy track with 80's familiarity, yet still feeling quite contemporary. |

Fallacy
feat. Tubbt T - Big n Bashy 24 year old Brixton born Daniel Fahey aka Fallacy is one of the most distinctive voices to have come from the UK urban scene, blending street-level slang and his impassioned vocals with an assertive, no-nonsense attitude. Craig
Favid feat. Sting - Rise & fall This is probably the best song on his recent album and should do better than the previous two releases. Sting's vocals add real quality to this track, but I'm not sure whose career is likely to benefit most from this duet. |

Hell
is For Heroes - Retreat This has a tinge of a feeling of 80's rock to it with a bit of a Cure guitar thrown in for good measure. This is a very well constructed song both musically and lyrically. It's worth following this band as they are destined for big things. |
