This is one of the albums \ DVDs I've been waiting for. Aslan are one of the most underrated rock bands EVER. For those who've not come across them before, they're from Dublin and have been around a while. It's a live album that chronicles their sell out shows at Ireland's most prestigious venue, Vicar Street. It's superb from beginning to end and covers all their most popular tracks. The live stuff sounds in places very clinical, so the DVD adds more atmosphere. They've got gigs coming up in the UK in October 2003, Manchester Uni (5th), Glasgow King Tuts (6th) and London's Carling Islington (8th)Academy. If you get the chance to go you won't regret it, having seen them in earlier years. Highlights of the album include "pretty thing", "This Is" and the recently re-released "Crazy World", but it's all killer, no filler!

The DVD covers interviews and live performances, past and present, from one of Irelands finest bands. It's a real story covering split-ups and re-unions with lots of frank interviews.

This is one band that deserve to break through to a wider audience and hopefully this CD / DVD will gain them many more fans worldwide.
