Buffy 7 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Series 7
Starring: Sarah Michelle Gellar,

Editor

This is the seventh and final series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Season 7 lives up to expectation with some great episodes and lots of guest / farewell appearances from some earlier characters. (Giles turns up in "Bring on the Night") Buffy seems to be happier too, particularly in her new role as trainer and counselor. Willow is getting back to normal and Spike is being demented.

Buffy

The action and fight scenes are great and there are fine performances from all the characters. It's up to you what you make of this series, some will say it can't have gone on much longer anyway. Buffy is Buffy, so there's not much point in being over critical about what you're getting. For the main part this final season is entertaining and this being the last one will be essential for all fans.

Goodbye Buffy!

Buffy goes out in style as Season 7 is released to buy on DVD!

It’s the end of an era, the end of a legend, the end of television’s finest butt-kicking female… But not on DVD! From 5th April 2004 Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will be making it possible to eternalise Buffy in your own home as the Season 7 DVD box-set hits the shelves!

Satisfying the hunger of every Buffy addict, the six-disc DVD box-set features all 22 episodes from Season 7 (rrp. £79.99), and is packed with special features. It might be the final season, but there are still vampishly great storylines to bite into…

With Giles (Anthony Head) and the new potential slayers in Sunnydale, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Spike (James Marsters) set up a boot camp to train and test the possible superheroes. The wannabe slayers have a lot to live up to and must fight the most evil presence ever to hit Sunnydale. This mega demon is known as The First.

This is also a season for forgiving and forgetting as Buffy begins to regain her trust in Spike, and finds a space in the Scooby gang for ex-villain Jonathan. Meanwhile Anya and Xander are friends again, with perhaps more than a spark in the air?

Willow (Alyson Hannigan) has returned and although she is limited to how much she is allowed to get involved, is back in favour with the group. The Scoobies are in need of all the help they can get with the BIGGEST demon battle they’ve ever had to face…

With the return of Faith (Eliza Dushku) and Angel (David Boreanaz), the finale goes off with a blast! What will become of Buffy Summers and the Scooby gang? The final Buffy DVD release is a must buy for any fan… but get the tissues ready for the momentous ending!

To gain a further insight into the lives of Sunnydale’s earthly and unearthly residents, the Season 7 DVD box-set is full of exclusive special features including commentaries, a Season 7 overview, a Willow demon guide, Buffy 101: Studying The Slayer featurette and an outtakes reel. This final chapter is a must-own DVD for every Buffy fan!
