Buffy's back- thanks to her friends, but she's struggling to find herself and get back into the swing of things. She finds herself turning to spike for some emotional comfort. Willow is getting a bit obsessed with her magical powers. Xander and Anya get it together and announce their marriage. Giles continues in his role as Father figure. Dawn (previously known as the key) is doing rebellious teenager things.

So, add to this mixed up bag of feelings and emotions, three school 'geeks', that somehow have an advanced array of technical know how and magical powers, and the story begins to unwind. The geeks are hell bent on making Buffy's life a misery along with a fair number of ghosts, vamps and demons. Wrap this up with some weirder magical stuff and you've got the basic components of Series 6.

One thing that's likeable about this series is the dark humour. Some of the extras bring it out, especially the musical tracks. It's getting weirder and darker, but it's still great. Only disappointment is that the villains are not exactly menacing, but that's just a minor detail.
